The structural gazing façade from Steindl Glas has been awarded the European Technical Approval ETA 08/0099 (bonded façades). Numerous national and international projects have already been realised using the glazing system developed by Steindl Glas - for example the Beetham Tower (Manchester, 171 m), the Tower West (Liverpool), the Pavillion on the Jungfernstieg (Hamburg), the BMW Formenstudio (Munich), the Palace of Peace (Kazakhstan), the renovation of the L'Oréal office building (Karlsruhe) and the Tyrolean Mountain Restaurant Pardartschgrat at an altitude of 2,600 metres.

"Steindl Glas has already realised over 200 projects with individual approvals for the SG façades. We are now one of the first companies in Europe to have been awarded the Europe-wide approval for bonded façades from the Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt). We are delighted and proud of this honour. With maximum sizes of up to 2,500 x 6,000 mm and the smallest of joints (max. 14 mm), the advantages of Steindl Glas SG façades over conventional façade systems are obvious", explains Heinz Eisenbach, CEO of Steindl Glas.

Numerous famous projects with structural glazing façades

The unique SG façade system from Steindl Glas is a part of numerous national and international projects - for example the Beetham Tower (Manchester, 171 m), the Tower West (Liverpool), the Pavillion on the Jungfernstieg (Hamburg), the BMW Formenstudio II (Munich), the Palace of Peace (Kazakhstan), the renovation of the L'Oréal office building (Karlsruhe), the Tyrolean Mountain Restaurant Pardartschgrat at an altitude of 2,600 metres. Fire protection engineering solutions have also been realised, for example for the Mother House of the Merciful Sisters in Munich.
